How's everyone doing today? Summer seems to be super busy, even when nothing in particular is planned. I find myself feeling like I'm constantly in the move, almost as if my daily tasks are on a timer. When that happens, I tend to get stressed and not get anything done. I have to remind my self to slow down, take deep breaths, and list out loud ally what I need to do by order of priority. You know what almost always comes first on that list? My workout. My workout is top priority because not only is it's essential to being fit and physically healthy, but it is crucial to being mentally healthy as well. Working out centers me, and I've found my stress and anxiety goes way down once I've gotten in my exercise for the day. If I miss one, it's most likely because I don't have a plan. I would argue with anyone that the biggest, most important part of establishing healthy habits and transforming your life is to have a plan in place. Know what routine you are doing every day. Post it on your fridge, on your bathroom mirror, anywhere you will be forced to see it. That leaves out the daily guesswork of what to do and how long it will take. Today, my workout was Rip't Up from BeachBody's Focus T25, and then topped it off with 8 Count Abs from Cize. It was not heavy cardio and I did not burn a ton of calories, but I did get in some strength training. The cardio is coming tomorrow! That was my plan for the day, and I followed through. What is your plan?

Now, on to my motivational spiel of the day! 😜
Yep, we are ALL human! If this does happen to you, and it will, don't best yourself up. Don't say that someone else is better than you and you're just not disciplined enough. Comparisons are silly because you only get a small glimpse into another person's life, so you don't know that even the perceived best or most disciplined fall short. It's all about how you stay consistent with what you want to achieve, and all about how you pick yourself up after you stumble or fall. If you have a routine in place where you're working out consistently, and have prepared yourself with an arsenal of healthy choices and dinner plans, then when you DO fall, it's easier to get back on track. You have support with being prepared. You also have support in here, because I'm GOING to speak for everyone when I say none of us are perfect and all of us indulge, skip workouts, wish we could be better, etc. nobody is alone, and falling short doesn't mean you should quit. Quitting is the only thing that stops you.
